Our Cider House, Ibarra Sagardotegia, is a renovated farmhouse which dates back to 1828. We maintain the traditions for our food and enjoy both cider and a typical menú from the cider barrels in a relaxing and familiar atmosphere.
Ibarra Sagardotegia has the means and appropriate facilities to keep the cider at its best. Traditional brewing methods can only preserve cider from January to May.
But in our cellar the cider is kept in three tanks containing 17.000 litres each at a constant temperature of 12º C degrees. As a consequence, our cider is stored in perfect conditions. The tanks are usually filled in October and about three or four months later the cider will be ready to be enjoyed.
